Welcome to Antumapu

Hi again! As you could know, I study Agronomic Engineering at University of Chile, the campus is located in La Pintana and its name is Campus Antumapu or Campus Sur. I decided to study the agronomy when I realized how much I loved the plants and be on fields with different crops. It have a length of 5 years and I like a lot my career, throughout I have had very good professors and obviously I have my favorite subject, this semester my favorite was Water and Soil Chemistry dictated by Yasna Tapia, but in the past my favorites was Botanic, Plant Physiology, Edaphology and Plant Health. On the other hand, the subjects that was not too interest to me are Agricultural Mechanization, Practice 1 and Physics. I think that my career need to include more field work, because I am from 2020's generation and we had online classes for two years and I feel like we are a little behind on that. We do not have the best technology, the computers are really slow, but I have heard that the investigation equipment are  of the best. One of the things I like the most about my faculty is the campus, because it is huge. It has a lot of green areas, diversity of plant species and you can find and see many insects, birds, fungus and some animals, like the dogs rescued being paraded around Antumapu.

See u next time!
